Lili's blossom writing

The    blossoms   are   starting    to   open.   The   leaves   are   growing   slowly.   They   are   blooming   open.     The  sun   is out.  The   rain   is  out.   There is     a   rainbow   coming   now.

Amazing Winter Stories.

WINTER
The snow danced to the ground.
I got white snow on me.
It was freezing and it was cold.
The snow shines in the sun.

Myles Nichol

SNOW
It is like a blanket when it covers the mountains.
I like the soft snow.
It is like silk.
The snow floated onto the ground.

SNOW
It is like a blanket covering the mountains.
The snow is glittering in the sun.
I was freezing.

Olive Seddon

SNOW
The mountain is covered with snow like a blanket.
When the sun came out it glistened.  It felt cold.
I like the snow.  It is cold,  like an ice block.

Art or Maths???

These super duper learners cut straws to different lengths and put them together to make a tree shape on a card. They wrote a message inside to give to their Valentine.
Awesome measuring skills girls.
