We had a fabulous trip to Makarora. We had a bush walk and listened to native birds. We noticed the different leaf shapes and layers in the bush. Andrew the DOC Ranger showed us a stoat trap. Thank you to all the parents for helping.

Trip to Makarora

Viewing artists work
We have been looking at famous artists work and discussing the lines and detail they have used. We then went out and looked at our landscape and drew using different lines and shading.
Absolutely amazing results. Well done Room 7. We are looking forward to viewing more art from the art truck on Wednesday.
