Maori Culture Week

 We had a fabulous week choosing a Moari activity to complete over four afternoons.  We worked with children from right across the school.  These are just some of the amazing creations we produced.

We also sampled a hangi.  There was five hundred little packets made up for us to try.  Thank you to all the parents who helped with this .  The children loved it!!!!
 A lot more activities were offered like, poi, rakau sticks, traditional food.

    I loved these prints! beautiful simple forms and colours. All the hard work and process of making them really shows in the final result. Joe was so proud of his achievement. I hope he gets to bring his home one day and we can hang it on his wall :-)
